Before reaching El Chalten, there will be stops at viewpoints where you can see Mount Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. From there, you will enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the mountain village, the Andes Mountains and the iconic Mount Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. After taking some photographs, we continue the tour until we reach the picturesque town of El Chalten.
After a 3-hour trip, the first activity will be to visit the National Parks Interpretation Center and take a hike to Mirador de los Condores (trail conditions apply). After visiting this famous viewpoint, you will have lunch at a restaurant in the city center. After lunch, you will visit Chorrillo del Salto (a famous waterfall located just minutes from the city center) and take a relaxing walk through the forest. Then, you will explore the historic center, the main square, the Chapel of the Climbers, and the waterfront. After the city tour, you will have free time to explore the area on your own.
After a beautiful day in the National Capital of Trekking, you will return to El Calafate, arriving at 6:30 p.m.
