The Nativo Experience tour is a half day excursion that takes place in 4x4 vehicles along the shore of Lake Argentino within Estancia 25 de Mayo Nature Reserve. It is an ideal excursion for the arrival or departure day from El Calafate. The tour offers a historical and anthropological perspective on humankind's past in these lands, rediscovering the experiences of the first expeditions that ventured into the unknown along the Santa Cruz River and Lake Argentino.

The Nativo Experience: Lakes and Caves tour focuses on the history of explorers' first contacts with the Tehuelches (native people of the area). On the excursion, you'll cross cliffs with incredible views of Lake Argentino and the Andes Mountains.

After being picked up from your hotel in El Calafate by 4x4 vehicle, you'll head to Estancia 25 de Mayo Nature Reserve, where you'll stop at the cliffs overlooking Lake Argentino. From there, you'll have magnificent views of the surrounding area and the Andes Mountains.
