This full day tour from El Calafate allows you to visit Torres del Paine National Park in Chile without having to go through Puerto Natales and in brand-new buses with specialized guides from Chile. You will visit strategic points within the park, from where you will hike accessing panoramic viewpoints of the most important natural attractions of Paine.
You will be picked up by bus at your hotel in El Calafate after 6:10 a.m. to go to Torres del Paine National Park in Chile. Crossing the Patagonian steppe from north to south, you will arrive at the border called Cancha Carrera (4 hours from El Calafate) and, once the customs procedure is finished, a break will be made in the Chilean town of Cerro Castillo.
At 11:30 a.m. the bus continues to Torres del Paine National Park where you will arrive at 12:30 p.m. to the first attraction which is Laguna Amarga. After visiting this area and marveling at Torres del Paine from this famous viewpoint, the tour continues to Lake Nordenskjold. From this point, the bus will take the direction of the Pudeto area, arriving at approximately 1:30 p.m. where a guided trek will be made towards the waterfall of Salto Grande with a hike towards the Mirador de los Cuernos del Paine in the shores of Lake Nordenskjold. This trekking lasts 1 hour and a half and the difficulty is low. Those passengers who do not want to do the hike can wait for the group in the vehicle.
Once the trekking is finished, the tour continues heading to Hosteria Pehoe. Finally, you return to Laguna Amarga at 4:00 p.m. approximately. The tour ends towards Cerro Castillo where you arrive at 6:00 p.m. and return to El Calafate at 9:30 p.m. The tour can also finish in Puerto Natales arriving at 20:00 (must be defined at the time of booking).
