(2 days and 1 night in a Deluxe Cabin on a double basis) The Santa Cruz Cruise offers a level of exclusivity and luxury in terms of tours in Los Glaciares National Park. Sail during 2 days and 1 night in front of the Upsala and Spegazzini glaciers while you enjoy an excellent gourmet service onboard, spend the night very close to these ancient ice and visit exclusive viewpoints of the Spegazzini Glacier.
During the tour onboard the Santa Cruz Cruise you will go in search of "The Spirit of the Glaciers" sailing in front of walls of more than 50 meters high, deep blue millenary ice, majestic icebergs, long Patagonian sunsets that paint the sky in shades of red, and nights so dark that reflect the Milky Way on the lake's surface.
Day 1. In case you have included the transfer from your hotel in El Calafate, at 5:00 pm. you will be picked up and transferred to the Port of Punta Bandera where you will embark on the Santa Cruz Cruise. Check in will be on board while introducing to the crew who will assign the cabins for the journey. Around 6:00 p.m. the cruise sets sail to Puesto de las Vacas Bay on the Spegazzini Channel where you will spend the night.
Day 2. After a delicious breakfast, you will disembark at Puesto de las Vacas for an interesting walk towards the Spegazzini Glacier Viewpoint . Later, and back onboard, you will sail to the Spegazzini Glacier where you will enjoy lunch, and then sail to the Upsala Glacier where you can glimpse fabulous icebergs floating on its front. Finally, you will return to Port of Punta Bandera to disembark at 4:00 p.m. and return to your hotel at 5:00 p.m.
The Santa Cruz Cruise is the newest and largest ship currently sailing the waters of Lake Argentino. It has 20 double cabins with private bathroom and external view which allows to comfortably accommodate 42 passengers. The cruise also has a library, living room, bar, restaurant, air conditioned rooms, high-tech kitchen and three decks.
