This tour is a 1 hour boat ride in front of the north face of the Perito Moreno Glacier, considered the most beautiful face. It is an ideal excursion if you visit the glacier on your own by car because it complements the visit to the balconies with an approach to the face of the glacier from the water, with the possibility of seeing floating icebergs and occasional landslides from close up.

The tour has several daily departures from Puerto Moreno (located in the beginning of the balconies in front of the lower parking lot of the glacier) on the Canal de los Témpanos.

A few seconds after departure, the boat approaches to the front of the north wall of the glacier, where you can appreciate its great height and size from a totally different perspective than what is seen from the balconies. You will see the contact area between the Perito Moreno Glacier and the peninsula where the famous ice bridge forms and the glacier breaks every few years. This phenomenon has made the Perito Moreno Glacier known worldwide for its spectacular nature.

Later, the boat ride will continue slowly in front of the entire width of the north wall hoping to enjoy some icefall towards the water, to then return to Puerto Moreno.
